Carlos has diverse experience in operational management, fundraising, capital fundraising, event planning, camp & property management, financial management, program development, board development, human resources, environmental education, outdoor adventure, safety, DEI, and leadership development.

Carlos has been recognized for his commitment and passion for the community with the Pacific Coast Business Times Latino Business award, several BSA National President’s Awards, and the BSA Professional Circle award. Under his leadership councils he has served have received numerous BSA National organization recognition for improving operations and serving diverse families.

Carlos attended The Outdoor School (ODS) as a youth and is honored to lead the rebuild efforts of Camp Rancho Alegre with the purpose of re-establishing ODS in the central coast an it’s long history of serving all youth as the Executive of the council.
