Woodland Discovery Summer Camp
Woodland Discovery Camp was created in 2005 as a result of numerous requests from students of the Outdoor School to have a summer camp where they could come back to Rancho Alegre for another week of fun, learning, and exploration.
Since the last 4 year's have been highly successful, we will return in 2009 with two sessions:
Session 1: M-F June 15-June 19, 2009
Session 2: M-F June 22-June 26, 2009
A wide range of exciting adventures include old favorites like the Waterfall and 9 Mile Hikes along with summer only additions such as Lake Cachuma Boat Rides, Overnight Backpack trips, and Water Olympics. The pool will be open each day for swimming as well.
The camp is open to students 10-12 years of age. The fee is $395 and includes cabin accommodation along with three meals per day and an afternoon snack. The staff will consist of The Outdoor School naturalists along with an "all-star" cast of cabin leaders from the school year.
